This Privacy Policy explains how Ancotools ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit ancotools.com and use our in-browser file converter tools.

The most important thing to know: Ancotools does not upload your files to any server. Image, PDF, and data conversions are processed entirely in your web browser using JavaScript, WebAssembly, and HTML5 Canvas.

Your files never leave your device, are never transmitted to us, are never stored in a database, and cannot be recovered by us after you close the page. This applies to every tool on this site, including sensitive documents, personal photos, and camera RAW files.

Because we do not operate accounts and do not receive your files, we collect no file content and no personal file metadata.

The limited information that may be processed includes:

• Contact messages: If you use our contact form, the name, email address, subject, and message you voluntarily provide are sent directly from your device to our support address via your own email client. We retain this correspondence to answer your query.

• Usage analytics: We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate site usage (pages visited, device type, approximate region). This is pseudonymous and cannot be used to identify you personally.

We use the information described above solely to: operate and improve the service, respond to support requests, and measure aggregate usage so we can make the site faster and more useful.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the limited information we hold, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) when you use the site. Because your files never leave your device, there is no central dataset of converted files to protect or leak.

Ancotools is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Your contact messages are sent from your device directly to our support email. Analytics and advertising data may be processed by Google and its partners on servers located in the United States and other countries. By using the site, you acknowledge and consent to this processing where applicable, and Google provides appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

We do not retain conversion files or file metadata (we cannot — they are never transmitted). Contact email correspondence is kept as long as needed to serve your request. Aggregated analytics are retained by Google Analytics per its retention settings, which default to a limited rolling retention period.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you via a notice on the site. Continued use of Ancotools after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
