These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of ancotools.com and all tools, features, and content available on it (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time; the latest version will always be available on this page.

Ancotools offers free, browser-based file conversion tools (including image, PDF, and data conversion). Conversions are processed locally on your device using web technologies. Files are not uploaded to or stored on our servers.

You do not need an account, and there is no registration to use the Service. Because processing is client-side, we cannot access, view, or recover your files at any time.

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict anyone else's use of the Service. Prohibited uses include (without limitation):

• Uploading or converting content you do not own or lack the legal right to process (including copyrighted photos, documents, software, or other materials).

• Using the Service for any unlawful activity, or to process or distribute content that is illegal, defamatory, obscene, fraudulent, or otherwise harmful.

• Attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, or disrupt the Service, its infrastructure, or any of its components.

• Automated, excessive, or abusive usage intended to overload the Service or interfere with other users.

You are solely responsible for the content you process and the results you obtain from the Service.

Your privacy matters to us. The Service runs entirely in your browser, and your files never leave your device. Please review our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference, for details on cookies, advertising (including Google AdSense), analytics, and your data rights.

The Ancotools name, logo, website design, text, graphics, and software used to deliver the Service are the property of Ancotools or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

Your rights in your own files remain entirely yours: converting a file does not transfer any ownership or license over your content to us.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

While we work hard to make conversions accurate, we do not warrant that (a) any conversion will be error-free, complete, or fit for any specific purpose; (b) output files will be compatible with every application; or (c) the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or free of bugs. Conversion quality can depend on your browser, the source file, and the specific format, and may vary between browsers.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ancotools, its operators, and its contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or files, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service.

This includes, without limitation, liability for corrupted or unusable output files, inaccurate conversions, and any reliance placed on results produced by the Service. Because we never receive or store your files, we cannot provide backups or recover converted content; please keep copies of your original files.

The Service may display advertisements (including ads served by Google AdSense and its partners) and links to third-party websites. These are provided for convenience only. We do not endorse, control, or accept responsibility for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party websites or advertisers. Your use of third-party sites is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service, in whole or in part, at our discretion and without notice if we believe you have violated these Terms or that your use threatens the stability of the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 5, 6, 7, 10, and 11) will remain in effect after termination.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Ancotools operates, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through the competent courts of that jurisdiction.

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

We may revise these Terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted to this page, and we will update the "Last updated" date accordingly.
